The summer is in full swing, and so is the Legacy Foundation of Hartford! Our July 2025 newsletter is packed with uplifting stories and milestones made possible by our dedicated community of supporters.
Here’s a quick look at what’s inside:
- Year-End Celebration: We ended the school year with a fun-filled event, bringing together students, families, and staff for a day of laughter, reflection, and recognition. Our eighth graders are moving up, and our seniors are off to college—congratulations to all!
- Memorable Field Trips: Our scholars experienced an exciting WNBA game in New York City and enjoyed an adventure-packed trip to Hershey, PA. From roller coasters to concerts, these moments built confidence and lasting friendships.
- Scholar Spotlight: Meet Laila Williamson, who captivated audiences with her moving performance of “True Colors” at Charter Oak International Academy. We’re so proud of her talent and leadership!
- Growing Readers & Thinkers: The L.E.A.P. Academic Support Program, led by Ms. Rayna, is helping our youngest students build a strong foundation in reading and critical thinking—setting them up for future success.
- Thank You to Our Supporters: None of this would be possible without you. Your generosity fuels our programs and opens doors for Hartford youth.
Thank you for being an essential part of the Legacy family!
